Thanks Paladin for putting everything in one place.
I note no Revered leader or Sniper pic yet...... hope that is not a bad omen.

That's wave 5. MP's probably spacing them a week or so to keep the hype up.
WOHOO! Based on the different poses in the pics, the top and tail rotors move.

Thanks for the uploads, Paladin. Good to finally see the pics of the next wave, but except for the Zulfiqar, nothing knocks me over. The Cobra is pretty bland, as the real Marine one is, so that's to be expected. Too bad the camo schemes on the MEA stuff can't be done w/ other factions.

Is it just me, or does the PLA light truck look sucpiciously like a HMMWV and the entire system like an Avenger?

You're right, Ranger, but that's because the EQ-2050 really is, in essense, an Avenger knock-off.
These don't seem too bad. I'm esp. liking the Super Cobra. The flight stands look great, and if they can make them clear like they're talking about, I'll be even happier. The four-prong approach seems like a great idea, as it means you don't have to worry so much about models stacking on top of each other.
On a side note, anybody else think it's odd that the Lynx is designed with the weapons pods underneat the doors? It's accurate, but seems like an odd design feature.

That's because the real-life chinese system does look suspiciously like Avenger (although there are differences - no MG, less sensors, smaller 'pedestal') and its carrier is a HMMWV ripoff...

I wondered the same thing, but that seems to be the case on the real life prototype art too.

I wasn't knocking the figures, just the system it was modled off of (not really knocking the system eaither, just the blatant copying). I've seen some pics of PLA stuff that shows they copy pretty heavily (the Type 98 MBT looks like a T-72 hull with an M1 knock off turet on top), but that's closer than I've seen before.
I do think the flight stand in particular is very good too.

I think the TY-90 of the PLA is a somewhat larger missile than the stinger too. I think it has a better range profile and larger warhead. I don't think it is usable as a shoulder launched weapon. They probably have the same stats as the stinger though.
I hope the turrets on those EQ-2050s come off easily though. The PLA mounts that same missile launcher on the WZ-551 chassis and I am pretty sure I will have to do that too.

Got to narrow it down, which week in October?
I'll take the 1st week in August!

Official release or the moment you're really going to be able to buy them? If the second, then 3rd week of August is my estimate

Are the bases on the choppers going to be adjustable, in order to keep out of LOS?
