What is the hidden message here. I'll speculate, the main rulebook has a points system for modify/modding other vehicles?

Weren't they supposed to release copies of cards for Wave 2 in this issue? Or did I miss these in a previous issue?

no, you did not miss anything. Now that makes TWO that were missing, the wave 2 cards and battle reports.
But I'll take it that coverage on BF Evo rulebook and alternate option for brit's warrior are good thing.

I don't think they officially said they'd put them in this issue so much as we all assumed they would because that would have been a logical time to release them. HOPEFULLY that means they are instead working on another method of presentation.

The warrior varients are cool. One is an arty spotter vehicle, one is a more armored version ( kill of +11 for 210 pts), and last is a command vehicle for 225pts. Same rules as if you had command sqd with a warrior but for 25 pts less and minus the squad.

I'm liking the command variant. The fact that a command squad can't command when it's inside a Warrior never sat right with me...

The format they have for the Warrior variants in the new S&P is good enough for me - Hopefully they will police up all the missing cards next issue.
Preview cards of upcoming waves would be SUPER cool too!
Maybe we should all ask nicely - now - before they get too far into the preproduction of the new issue - not that they can't just add pages - but I'm sure they have a methodology in place - the earlier in that cycle we ask - the more likely they are to react.
Oh - yea and let them know - repeatedly - that publishing the cards will peak your interest in buying the minis - and you will be much more likely to buy and buy lots if you can see the card than if you can't
but only tell them this if it is the truth - which it certainly is for me
Slightly off topic -
Gotta' get me a pair of Tunguska's (even though they don't have any aircraft to shoot at YET) I want to support the game and before long there will be Helis & Fast Movers to shoot down!
