Wave 3 Production Pictures posted

Mongoose Publishing has released photos of the actual production models of Wave 3 miniatures. Wave 3 includes the special operations force of the USMC, the elite SAS of the EFTF, the first tank for the MEA and command squad for the PLA.
Currently the Wave 3 miniatures are scheduled for release at the end of May.

Alright, finally some news from MG. Here's my thoughts from the photos. Sadly, you cannot view larger pics, even on MG's site.

SAS-Nice and crisp, just like the Infantry squad. I'm hoping there is better facial detail, but I guess we'll have to wait until we see them in person to know for sure.

Force Recon-Nice! A new camo pattern for the Marines and the photos look just a tad under the preproduction pics. Really like these.

Tunguska AA-I am very happy MG stayed with the camo pattern. I three color camo scheme for a prepainted mini--- not too shabby. I'll even ignore the bright silver launch tubes for now, in my joy over the camo paint job Laughing

. And the MEA flag to boot. Looking very good.

Now, where's the PLA command squad? Anybody catch the typo that these will be availabe in late May/early April. Yeah, we wish. Cool

Is it my imagination or do the PLA command unit minis have body armor? I don't remember that being on their cards.

Tactical vests. Think of it as Mollie gear.

Otherwise, how are they to carry the radio equipment?

Cool the MEA have a tank. And we'll field it why? Yeah it's great at killing infantry but a chunk of the point cost is going towards those AA missles that are basicly useless. I think that this one should have been released with some air units out there and maybe pushed up the other tank.

That would be too much like right, wouldn't it? MP makes me scratch my head, wondering, "What in the hell are they thinking? Should have released the MBT for the MEA first and the Anti-Air tank when the other nations get their helicopters. While I like the game and the minis, I really dislike MP schedule, if you can even call it a schedule since they delay again and again and again. Confused
